She is my friend and___

I finally got home after a study day for my exams tomorrow. I was so exhausted, and ready to see my best friend. She also, coincidently, was my identical twin. We’ve been friends since birth. I suppose I should have studied more, but I refused. My sister Liana got home and yelled for me. “Lilly! I’m home! I need to talk to you!” I raced down the stairs and jumped into her awaiting hug. We smiled and sat down on the couch. She took a nervous breath, “I need your help. I can’t pass my exams and I need to, or I’ll fail! I need you to switch places with me and take them for me.” I was shocked.
Mouth open wide, and I had almost nothing to say. Almost. “No...NO! I can’t switch places with you! Think of the consequences!” I had to argue myself as well not to yell at her. She grasped my hands firmly, “Lilly, please! It’s just this one favor!” she begged. After more convincing, I agreed. Tomorrow, she would fake sickness, I would go take my exams, then come home and fake sickness as well, Liana ‘gets better’, and I go make up her exams for her the next day.
The next day, it was all going perfectly. I thought we would get away with this without a single snag. Then, the day after, I walked into school as my sister, and no one noticed or questioned me. But around lunch time was when people began to take notice. Unlike Liana, I had an unusually large appetite. Liana has a rather ‘normal’ one. Her friends noticed, so I had to cleverly make an excuse and slip away to the next class. Liana’s teacher kind of hesitated when I spoke to her. Liana is always enthusiastic and optimistic, whereas I was reluctant to deep conversation. Eventually, she gave me the exam and I bolted from the room, hoping I wasn’t suspicious. I passed the administrators, and they waved, so I waved back. I began to get really nervous and I could feel the tensions sitting on my mind as I tried to find the final class. I had a little trouble which made me panic more, but I did find it. I took my seat and took the exam. I only let out my breath when I was safely home. Liana met me at the door and I informed her it went well. “I am never doing that again. That was so stressful for me, and I almost got caught! Never again, Liana.” I sighed. She laughed and hugged me, thanking me. In the long run, it was kinda worth it, because we stayed together, in the same grade.
It was stressful, but...she is my twin.
